Introduction

This series of wallpapers that are based around
Disney's motion picture TRON.
I loved the colours used in this film which has inspired these series of wallpapers.
This series starts off with hard and sharp textures that really stand out and then
gets softer and softer as the series progresses, almost as if the tones are diminishing.

Neon circle

This wallpaper is based around the costume design and uses a build up of different colours
to give a neon effect. I wanted to concentrate on making a simple design which has huge
impact and pulls your eye in, i.e. Having a bright luminous ring on the
pure black background.

Neon waves

To me it is the most interesting
and effective out of the four. I believe it luminates the neon effect that TRON is all
about and incorporates this in an original looking design. This was the product of my inspiration
to work with a TRON theme, it came about when I started by playing around
with a loops example that was posted on first year design and researched the colours online.
Eventually i came up with a comppsition I was pleased with.

Neon rings

I paticularly like the simplicity of the rings that spiral backwards and eventually
fade into the background. It gives a perfet harmony of a digital theme with an organic
touch. The rings flow in a spiral and look like they're moving fluidly and gives more
of a relaxed feel.

Neon soft

This wallpaper has such a soft tone to it, that it almost dissapears and is an effective

final piece in my series of diminishing neon tones.

Working progress.

above is part of what inspired me to base my theme around TRON. It came about from playing with the code of a processing sketch by Angela Blachnitzky that was posted on another blog as an example of how to use loops.
